Laurynas Suodaitis is currently occupied with an investment advisor role for manufacturing at the governmental investment promotion agency Invest Lithuania. He mainly focuses on promoting Lithuania’s investment value proposition abroad as well as managing business development projects locally. He has previously worked as regional finance controller for Europe at UK Foreign & Commonwealth Office and independent business consultant. He also owns a company involved in trading.
Laurynas is actively involved in politics as he has been elected as a member of council in Sakiai district municipality. He serves in economics and business development committee where he promotes advanced vocational training and mainly works on business & investment climate improvement in a rather small country area.
Laurynas has joined Rotaract in 2011 and has been a charter-president of Vilnius Iron Wolf Rotaract club.
He also served as DRR and chair of Lithuanian Rotaract clubs board for a couple of terms. Just a few months
ago he has joined Vilnius Rotary club.
Laurynas has graduated from International Baccalaureate (IB) programme at Siauliai Didzdvaris gymnasium.
He is currently studying economics engineering in Vilnius Gediminas Technical University.
During his school years, Laurynas has taken part in Model European Parliament project as committee chair
in number of sessions nationally and a president in plenary sessions.
